Publication Ethics

In order to apply the publication ethics standard strictly and accountably, a set of publication ethics has been formulated and must be obeyed by the authors, editor, and reviewer.

Responsibilities of the Authors

In order to meet the highest ethical standards in research and publication, the authors are responsible to:

• Submit their original work by providing adequate sources and references from others’ cited opinions and works that are cited properly
• Write articles either individually or collaboratively
• Submit their original work that has not been published or is still to be considered to be published in other journals or other forms of publications
• Avoid any plagiarism, duplication, and data manipulation
• Write and present articles of their ideas clearly, ethically, honestly, accountably, and consistent with the scientific writing regulation
• Ensure that all authors of the paper have significant contributions to the research

Responsibilities of the Editor

In order to meet the highest ethical standards in research and publication, the editor is responsible to:

• Accept, reject or recommend a manuscript to be revised or resubmitted
• Guarantee that the manuscript meets the overall quality standards of the publication
• Ensure that all considerations are fair and there is no commercially biased in the peer review process
• Avoid any conflicts of interest between staff, authors, reviewers, and board members
• Make and base the decisions in the review process and decision making in publishing article only on the paper’s quality and must not make decisions based on the discrimination issues such as racial, gender, religious, ethnic or political-ideological
• Edit the article as far as necessary. Article published becomes the property of Felicitas journal.

Responsibilities of the Reviewers

In order to meet the highest ethical standards in research and publication, the editor is responsible to:

• Review all papers objectively
• Evaluate a manuscript based on the paper’s quality and must not base on the discrimination issues such as racial, gender, religious, ethnic, or political-ideological
• Identify and ensure all citations, references, plagiarism, and works that have not been cited by the authors
• Maintain confidentiality during the peer review process
