Peer Review Process

The peer-review process is done as follows:

1. Initial process

  • All manuscripts submitted will be screened by the editor by reading and checking the similarity by using TURNITIN. The maximum similarity is 20%. For a manuscript that has a similarity of more than 20% will be returned.
  • The editor ensures that the manuscript does not violate other original works and considers that the manuscript is suitable for the strands of the journal. For a manuscript that is not considered not under the strands of the journal and fails to abide the ethical standards will be rejected.

2. Peer review. All submissions that have passed the initial process will be sent to the nominated expert for review. The reviewer will be chosen according to the topics and expertise of the reviewers. The reviewer, then, is given some time to review the manuscript and decide to accept or reject it, and with major or minor revisions. Later, the reviewer sends the manuscript back along with the comment and feedback. If the manuscript is directly accepted without any revision, it will be given back to the author for further proofreading.

3. Revision and proofreading. The author will be given some time to proofread the manuscript, do the revision, and respond to the comments and feedback given. After proofreading, revising, and responding, the author sends the manuscript back to the editor. Then, the editor sends the manuscript back to the reviewer to check whether the manuscript is ready to be published.

4. Publication. Congratulations! The article will be published in the latest issue of Felicitas journal.
