Author Guidelines

The following are guidelines for authors in submitting their manuscripts:

  1. Articles must be written in English or Indonesian with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation of the academic language with standard academic writing structure and composition
  2. Articles must have an abstract that is written in 1 paragraph in English (if the content is written in Indonesian) and Indonesian (if the content is written in English)
  3. The abstract should be written in a single space with a maximum 250 words for each with a maximum 5 keywords written in Italic. The abstract must include the objective of the study, method (data/sample, data collection procedure, data analysis procedure, and hypothesis testing procedure), and results of the study
  4. The manuscript is typed in Times New Romans single space with 12 points font size, in an A4 sized paper between 3500 to 8000 words or approximately 10 to 15 pages including references, pictures, and tables
  5. The title must be typed in BOLD and CAPITAL
  6. The margins of the manuscript are 4 cm for the left and top side and 3 cm for the bottom and right side
  7. The author’s name is written without any academic title and is placed under the title.
  8. Any informal words should be written in Italic
  9. Footnotes are used if the writing cites from other resources. Footnotes are written in Times New Roman 10 points font size
  10. Send the manuscript in a Microsoft Word document (*.doc or *.docx) or RTF
  11. Lux et Sal journal follows citation according to Society of Biblical Literature (SBL)
