Felicitas https://jurnal.imavi.org/index.php/felicitas

e-ISSN : 2807-1441

p-ISSN : 2775-426X

DOI : https://doi.org/10.57079/fcs
Institutum Theologicum Ioannis Mariae Vianney Surabayanum id-ID Felicitas 2775-426X Desain Pelayanan Pastoral Orang Muda Katolik Gereja Santo Yosafat Surabaya menurut Christus Vivit https://jurnal.imavi.org/index.php/felicitas/article/view/129
Young Catholics are called to continue proclaiming faith in the world as modern-day images of Jesus. In Christus Vivit, Pope Francis identifies young people as the "now of the Church" and recognizes their potential to improve the world. As a result, the Church must prepare the formation of young Catholics earnestly. This research explores and designs pastoral care for young Catholics at St. Josafat Church in Surabaya, in line with Christus Vivit. Using qualitative methods, the researcher conducted interviews, surveys, and literature studies to analyze the current pastoral care and develop a new design. While the pastoral movement at St. Josafat Church is active and based on Christus Vivit, it remains focused on bonding and lacks full integration. The general guidelines for the pastoral care of young people at St. Josafat Church Surabaya is aimed to enhance the formation process of young people. These guidelines address several needs specific to the youth, including: building bonding, faith formation, self-recognition and self-potential, leadership development, and the implementation of a missionary spirit. In the next phase, this general guideline for pastoral care for young people according to Christus Vivit will be periodically evaluated to ensure that pastoral care for young people is increasingly optimal and relevant.
Hilarius Andika Kurniawan Benny Suwito Hak Cipta (c) 2024 Hilarius Andika Kurniawan, Benny Suwito https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-12-16 2024-12-16 4 2 67 88 10.57079/feli.v4i2.129 Analisis Pertumbuhan Iman Katakumen Dewasa Stasi St. Yohanes Gabriel Perboyre Surabaya Angkatan Tahun 2023-2024 (Tinjauan Manajemen Operasional) https://jurnal.imavi.org/index.php/felicitas/article/view/130
Every people have the free will to hold certain beliefs. If someone wants to become a Catholic, he must become a catechumen firstly till he receive the Sacrament of Baptism. A catechumen will learn about the teachings of the Catholic Church through the catechumenate process. This process also grows faith when he begins to practice it in every life. In addition, the faith growth of catechumen is related to the results of a comprehensive interaction between inputs; process; and output, namely through the pre-catechumenate, catechumenate, and the Sacrament of Baptism. In operational management, the faith growth of catechumen shows that learning about the Catholic Church creates Christian values within them. This is because there is a transformation process in their respective lives, where initially they have different belief backgrounds (input) until finally they receive the Sacrament of Baptism and are welcomed as part of the Catholic Church (output). This article will show the results of the analysis regarding the faith growth of catechumen in St. John Gabriel Perboyre Surabaya Station class of 2023-2024 reviewed through operational management (input; process; and output).
Stefanus Lumen Christian Christina Esti Hak Cipta (c) 2024 Stefanus Lumen Christian, Christina Esti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-12-16 2024-12-16 4 2 89 113 10.57079/feli.v4i2.130 Praktik Hukuman Mati dari Sudut Pandang Ensiklik Veritatis Splendor https://jurnal.imavi.org/index.php/felicitas/article/view/136
This article examines the practice of capital punishment from the perspective of the encyclical Veritatis Splendor, a moral document issued by Pope John Paul II in 1993. The article focuses on the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. The Church, as expressed in Veritatis Splendor, considers capital punishment to be inconsistent with human dignity and the core principles of Christian morality. The encyclical emphasizes that human life holds intrinsic value because it is created in the image of God, and that capital punishment violates the fundamental moral principle of the right to life. This theological reflection begins with a discussion of natural law inherent to human beings and follows Jesus' command to a rich young man that the highest good can only be found through a relationship with God. The article then highlights the human freedom to obey the truth and moral law, which guide individuals toward the true good, which is God. In the context of capital punishment, the misuse of human freedom to kill is considered an intrinsically evil act (intrinsece malum), which can never be justified, even with pragmatic reasons such as deterrence or justice. In summary, Veritatis Splendor stresses that every human action, including within the criminal justice system, must be directed toward the true good and respect for human dignity, rejecting capital punishment as a morally contradictory act to the Christian faith.
Nicholaus Damianus Poa Hak Cipta (c) 2024 Nicholaus Damianus Poa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-12-16 2024-12-16 4 2 114 126 10.57079/feli.v4i2.136 Aplikasi ESCETE Prima Mobile Credit Union Prima Danarta https://jurnal.imavi.org/index.php/felicitas/article/view/132
This research paper examines change management strategies and conducive human resource (HR) development in non-profit organizations, specifically at Prima Danarta Credit Union (CU) through the implementation of the ESCETE Prima Mobile application. The research aims to explore Nouwen's idea of silence, which is often equated with solitude or loneliness. However, silence is a distinct concept that plays a crucial role in fostering spiritual growth. In contemporary times, we are inundated with a constant flow of information through digital devices and media platforms, a hallmark of the modern age. Consequently, we often find ourselves too busy and struggle to carve out moments of stillness and tranquility. Such conditions, sooner or later, can hinder the development of spiritual life. This paper examines the relevance of silence in the modern world and provides practical ways to integrate it into daily life. The methodology employed is a literature review, analyzing Nouwen's writings and other relevant sources from books and journals on modern life. The findings reveal that silence is essential and can be meaningfully practiced in today's modern context.
Memet Saputra Hak Cipta (c) 2024 Memet Saputra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-12-16 2024-12-16 4 2 153 164 10.57079/feli.v4i2.133
